Touch-A-Truck

Recently, we were thrilled to have one of our trucks featured in the 10th annual Touch-A-Truck event, presented by Oshawa Power. In fact, Miller has been participating in every iteration of the event for the last 10 years. The event offers children the chance to learn more about their favourite trucks, speak with our operators, and ask them questions. This year we showcased one of our Mighty Miller Machines, the emergency response crash truck.

A portion of the proceeds from the event went to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of South-West Durham. This collaboration exemplifies our commitment to community service, which is woven into the very fabric of Miller’s culture. We believe in supporting initiatives that foster growth, development, and opportunities for youth in our area, and we are proud to be part of events that make a positive impact in our community.

Autism Speaks

In 2024 Miller Cement and Concrete partnered with Autism Speaks, an organisation dedicated to creating an inclusive Canada for all individuals with autism. Our partnership included wrapping a concrete truck and cement tanker with Autism Speaks’ colours and logo. In addition we are proud to have raised over $8,000 for the organisation through the Autism Speaks Walk on June 23rd, 2024.

You can spot our cement tanker and concrete truck in your community, showcasing our dedication to increasing public awareness and promoting inclusion and acceptance for autistic individuals, their families, and their communities. At Miller, we strive to make a positive impact and create a brighter future for everyone.
